Carlo Salvato To Be Chair of AOM's Entrepreneurship Division

Academy of Management's ENT Division has over 2,700 members worldwide

Carlo Salvato (Department of Management and Technology) has been elected Professional Development Workshop (PDW) Chair for the Academy of Management (AOM)’s Entrepreneurship (ENT) Division, after an election with a very high turnout. The position implies automatic transition to other leadership roles in the coming years, up to Division Chair.

As PDW Chair, Salvato will be responsible for the organization of the Division’s Professional Development Workshops at the 2013 Annual Meeting. The subsequent year he will be Program Chair, with the role of coordinating all the 2014 Annual Conference activities for the Entrepreneurship Division. In the subsequent three years Salvato will take on the positions of Chair-elect, Chair, and Past-Chair of the Division, directing the role of the Board in shaping the Division’s strategies and activities.

With 2,700 members from 65 countries (45% residing outside North America) and a 25% rise in the last five years, ENT is the fastest growing division of AOM.
