Gaia Rubera, a New Purchase from Michigan State University

She enters the Department of Marketing

From September 2012 Gaia Rubera is associate professor at the Department of Marketing. An assistant professor at Michigan State University since 2008, previously Rubera was research manager at the Center for Global Innovation of University of Southern California.

A graduate from Università Bocconi, Rubera also obtained a PhD in Business Administration in 2008.

Her research activity, which focuses on innovation and development, marketing strategy and design, earned her several grants from various institutions, among which the Marketing Science Institute and the Kauffman Foundation. The author of about fifteen papers published in eminent international journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Product Innovation Management and Journal of International Business Studies, Rubera is in the editorial board of the Journal of International Marketing. In 2009 one of her papers earned the Highly Commended Award by Emerald Literati Network.
