Italo Colantone entered Bocconi's ranks last March

THE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR COMES FROM THE ERASMUS UNIVERSITY OF ROTTERDAM

An Assistant Professor for the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management since last March, Italo Colantone officially widens the ranks of the new faculty for the academic year 2014-15. He comes from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, where he held the position of assistant professor since 2008.

A graduate from Bocconi, Colantone obtained first a degree in Economics, Statistics and Social Sciences (2003) and then a Master in Economics. In 2008 he earned his PhD from Catholic University of Leuven with the dissertation Essays on Entrepreneurship and Industrial Dynamics in an Open Economic Context.

At the moment, he his teaching European Economic Policy and Economics of European Integration for the Department of Policy Analysis and Public Management of Bocconi University. His research focuses on International Trade and Applied Industrial Organization.
