A New Assistant Professor Directly from Columbia University

POLITICAL ECONOMY AND EXPERIMENTAL ECONOMICS ARE THE MAIN RESEARCH INTERESTS OF SALVATORE NUNNARI

An alumnus of Università Bocconi, where he earned his BA and MA degrees in Economics, Salvatore Nunnari obtained his PhD in Social Science at the California Institute of Technology. Since 2013 he has worked at Columbia University in the capacity of Assistant Professor, and previously taught at the University of California, San Diego. Next Year Nunnari will enter the Department of Economics, thanks to a UniCredit&Universities fellowship, again as an Assistant Professor.

His research interests focus on political economy and on experimental economics. More specifically, his research applies game theory and laboratory experiments to the analysis of negotiation, of public assets and of political institutions. Nunnari has published his studies on international academic journals such as the American Economic Review and the American Political Science Review, and presented his research during conferences and talks at various universities, including Berkeley, New York University, Princeton, University of Chicago and University of California, Los Angeles.
