Annalisa Prencipe Enters the European Accounting Association Management Committee

FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS THE BOCCONI PROFESSOR WILL COLLABORATE WITH THE ASSOCIATION TO DEVELOP STRATEGIES TO FOSTER RESEARCH AND DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF ACCOUNTING

Annalisa Prencipe, Director of the Economia e Legislazione per l'Impresa -Law and Business Administration- Master of Science, is now a member of the European Accounting Association’s Management Committee. The Association aims at providing a platform for the wider dissemination of knowledge in the field of accounting and at fostering research on the topic. "The Committee, of which I will be a member for the next three years, is responsible for the development of long-term strategies for the Association, whose purpose is to gather a large community of academics and researchers around the theme of accounting", says Prencipe, who teaches Accounting and Financial Reporting and Analysis.

"I was first a member and then the chairwoman of the Publications Committee until December 2015, an advisory board that helps the Management Committee in taking decisions relating to the publications and the journals of the Association", she continues. "This new position represents a chance for further professional growth and offers me the opportunity to contribute even more effectively to the growth of the Association".
