Giada Di Stefano Wins the 2011 Premio Isimbardi

THE BOCCONI PHD HONORED IN THE YOUNG TALENT CATEGORY OF THE AWARDS OF THE PROVINCE OF MILAN

For its top distinction, the Premio Isimbardi, the Province of Milan has decided this year to honor merit by highlighting the young talents that have distinguished themselves in their fields of activity and among the prize winners on June 6th for the field of university and research was Giada Di Stefano, PHD at Bocconi and currently researcher at the Department of Management and Technology.

Among the winners of the ‘Young Talent’ category, Di Stefano was described in the motivation as “co-author of numerous articles, has elaborated two case studies inserted in the European Case Clearing House collection. Her brilliant research work has been presented at the major management conferences and workshops.”

Di Stefano has obtained her PhD in Business administration and management at Bocconi and from January 2012 will take up the post of assistant professor in the Department of Strategy at HEC in Paris. Her main area of scientific interest is the management of technology and innovation and in 2010 she published with Gianmario Verona, of Bocconi’s Department of Management and Technology, the paper Dynamic Capabilities Deconstructed: A Bibliographic Investigation into the Origins, Development, and Future Directions of the Research Domain in Industrial and Corporate Change.  Di Stefano also has three papers on the theme of innovation and knowledge transfer in gourmet cuisine currently under review.
