Lei Wang, from IT Manager to Marketing

A new assistant professor at the Department of Marketing

Lei Wang joins Bocconi’s Department of Marketing as assistant professor in the academic year 2010-2011 from Kellogg School of Management, where she has recently obtained a PhD in quantitative marketing.

After an education in computer science at Brandeis University and Stanford University, Wang worked for five years as a manager before entering the PhD programme at Kellogg.
Her job market paper was titled Estimating Demand for Durable Goods: A Field Experiment, coherently with her research interests in consumer choice, e-commerce and applied econometrics.
