Academia Meets Bankitalia

At the 3rd Public Policies, Social Dynamics and Population Workshop on April 3rd

Public policies, social dynamics and population are the common ground of Bocconi’s Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics, Collegio Carlo Alberto’s Centre for Household, Income, Labour and Demographics economics (CHILD) and a group of Banca d’Italia’s researchers who met at Università Bocconi on April 3rd for the third joint workshop on those subjects (Roentgen, 4E4 SR03, 9:30-17:30).

“Academic scientists and researchers from Banca d’Italia have convergent interests”, Agnese Vitali, the organizer for Dondena, says, “and these workshops, held here or in Rome, are useful to strengthen cooperation and to trigger scientific collaborations”.

Nine papers were presented at the workshop, covering topics ranging from media and politics to parenting styles, from gender equality to the transmission of reading habits.
