Argentine Recognition for Emanuele Lucchini

EMANUELE LUCCHINI WILL RECEIVE AN HONORARY AWARD FOR HIS ACTIVE AND CONTINUOUS PRESENCE IN ARGENTINA'S LEGAL CIRCLES

On Wednesday, 7 May  Emanuele Lucchini Guastalla (Professor of Private Law and Director of the Master of Science in Law at Bocconi University ) will receive the honor "Huesped de Honor de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires" at the Parliament of the City of Buenos Aires during the conference " Maestros del derecho ".

The Legislature of Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires has decided to confer the highest honor that can be awarded to foreign citizens who "have distinguished themselves in culture, in science, in politics, in sports or who have rendered important services to humanity" (art . 4 of Law no. 578 Establishment of various honors) to the Bocconi professor because of his active participation in the debate on issues of law in Argentine academia.

The decision, made in March, will take effect tomorrow on the occasion of Lucchini's arrival in Argentina during his trip to South America for a series of scientific and academic meetings. In particular, he will give a lecture at the Book Fair of Buenos Aires on the theme of family law (5 May), and in the following days will be the Italian participant in the debate on the principle of solidarity in Italian law (7 May) . Finally, Lucchini will host the conference " La situacion de la familia en el siglo XXI" with a focus on the Italian situation (8 May).
