Auditing, financial reporting, disclosure frequency, analyst and management forecast, impairment, as well as high-tech, mining, oil and gas industry: these are the main areas upon which Gabriel Pereira Pündrich focuses his research. During the next academic year, besides teaching Accounting and financial statement analysis and Auditing, the new Assistant Professor of the Department of Accounting will be collaborating with other members of Bocconi faculty on auditing and mergers and acquisition projects. However, he is also very passionate about sports, from surfing and snowboarding to tennis and jiu-jitsu.

Gabriel, who worked as a consultant in the business intelligence sector and as an engineer in the field of research and development prior to the beginning of his PhD, is glad to start a new chapter at Bocconi: “The great aspect of being a researcher is that you never fall into the same routine. I am also excited to work as a professor: as a teacher, it is my duty to facilitate students’ careers, and it is very rewarding when you see them achieving their goals.”
