Baricco and Zecchina: A Writer and a Scientist on Digitization and Beyond

THE DIALOGUE WILL TAKE PLACE AT BOCCONI ON 28 MAY, ON THE OCCASION OF THE INAUGURATION OF THE VODAFONE CHAIR IN MACHINE LEARNING AND DATA SCIENCE

Writer Alessandro Baricco and artificial intelligence expert Riccardo Zecchina will discuss the digital revolution and the future of machine learning on Monday 28 May (Aula Magna Gobbi, 5 pm), on the occasion of the inauguration of the Vodafone Chair in Machine Learning and Data Science, a chair that will be held by Bocconi Professor Riccardo Zecchina himself.
 
On the one hand, Mr. Baricco will talk about the impact of digitization on human culture, on the other, Prof. Zecchina will highlight how the developments of artificial intelligence could affect the society of tomorrow.
 
The CEO of Vodafone Italia, Aldo Bisio, and the President and Rector of Bocconi, Mario Monti and Gianmario Verona, will also take part in the meeting.
