IN THE TILBURG UNIVERSITY RANKING OF THE BEST UNIVERSITIES FOR SCIENTIFIC PERFORMANCE IN ECONOMICS RESEARCH, BOCCONI IS 4TH IN EUROPE, 1ST IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE, AND 18TH IN THE WORLD

New confirmation for the quality of Bocconi's research output as the University climbs seven positions in the 'Top 100 Worldwide Economics Schools Research Ranking', the ranking produced by the University of Tilburg on scientific performance in the field of economics research. Bocconi is confirmed once again first in continental Europe, 4th in all of Europe, and climbs to 18th place in the world.

The ranking ranks universities according to publications in the  35 most important peer-reviewed journals -  in the disciplinary areas of economics, econometrics and finance - in the five-year period 2015-2019.

"The ranking of Tilburg University," comments Stefano Caselli, Dean for International affairs, "is part of the frame of leading international rankings in which Bocconi is present in positions of excellence, in this case with the aim of appreciating the fundamental dimension of research. The results are based on publications in the top journals and award Bocconi a place of absolute prestige".
