Bocconi Always in Search of Talent on the Academic Job Market

SEVEN POSITIONS ARE CURRENTLY OPEN AT THE DEPARTMENTS OF ECONOMICS, FINANCE, AND ACCOUNTING AND MORE WILL FOLLOW

Bocconi’s international faculty continues to grow, even in a difficult period like this one, which has seen a drastic contraction of the academic job market all over the world, according to the bulletins of the various associations. “We continue to look for the best international talent in all our fields and we are in full swing to secure them for the next academic year,” says the Dean of the Faculty, Francesco Billari, in presenting the seven positions currently open (available on the constantly updated Job Market page of the Bocconi website).

The Department of Economics is currently looking for two assistant professors, through a call expiring on November 15, the Department of Finance is looking for three, expiring on November 29, and the Department of Accounting wants to hire two, expiring on December 11.

“In these hours,” adds Professor Billari, “we are already conducting interviews for other positions whose calls have already expired, at the Departments of Management and Technology, Marketing, and Accounting. In the coming weeks more positions will open up.” If, in the past, these interviews were called fly-outs because the candidate was invited to Milan to meet the faculty and visit the University, for months now the online mode has prevailed.
