Paola Profeta on the Steering Committee for Economic Policy

ESTABLISHED BY UNDERSECRETARY TO THE PRESIDENCY OF THE COUNCIL BRUNO TABACCI, THE BODY WILL HAVE THE TASK OF GUIDING, STRENGTHENING AND MAKING EFFECTIVE THE PLANNING ACTIVITY ON ECONOMIC POLICY COORDINATION

Paola Profeta, Professor of Public Finance and Director of the AXA Research Lab on Gender Equality at Bocconi, is one of the 15 experts appointed to the Steering Committee for Economic Policy Coordination Planning. The Committee was established by the Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council, Bruno Tabacci "by virtue of the delegation received from President Mario Draghi on the coordination of economic policy and planning of public investments of national interest," according to a note of the Department for planning and coordination of economic policy (DIPE).
 
The undersecretary, the note continues, “through two different decrees, set up a Steering Committee that, without remuneration, will have the task of guiding, strengthening and making effective the planning activity on economic policy coordination at DIPE. The body will be chaired by undersecretary Tabacci himself with the coordination of the Head of DIPE, Professor Marco Leonardi.”
 
In addition to Tabacci and Leonardi, the new Steering Committee will include: Antonio Calabrò, Patrizia De Luise, Giuseppe De Rita, Elsa Fornero, Giuseppe Guzzetti, Alessandra Lanza, Mauro Magatti, Alessandro Palanza, Alessandro Pajno, Monica Parrella, Paola Profeta, Silvia Scozzese, Alessandra Servidori, Anna Maria Tarantola, and Mauro Zampini.
