Giovanni Fosti Is the New President of Fondazione Cariplo

The Professor of Public Administration Economics and Management is going to head one of the world's top ten foundations by assets

Giovanni Fosti, Associate Professor of Practice of Government, Health and Not for Profit and Director of Education for Government and Non-Profit at SDA Bocconi School of Management, is the new President of Fondazione Cariplo, one of the world's top-ten foundations by assets. He's been appointed yesterday by the foundation's Steering Committee along with other six members of the Board. The new President has been a member of Fondazione Cariplo's Steering Committee for six years.

Giovanni Fosti is an Adjunct Professor of Public Administration Economics and Management at Bocconi University. Until December 2018, he was, among other things, responsible for CeRGAS Bocconi Social and Social Services Area and, previously, Director of the EMMAP executive master, also at SDA Bocconi School of Management. In the academic field, he researches social innovation, planning and change in local welfare systems, institutional structures and service models for non-self-sufficiency. He is Scientific Director of the Long Term Care Observatory (OLTC) of CeRGAS – SDA Bocconi.

Prof. Fosti, who succeeds Giuseppe Guzzetti after 22 years, is the fourth President of Fondazione Cariplo.
