ALEXANDER KENTIKELENIS WILL COORDINATE BOCCONI PARTICIPATION IN CHAIN, CENTRE FOR GLOBAL HEALTH INEQUALITIES RESEARCH, AN INITIATIVE FUNDED BY THE NORWEGIAN RESEARCH COUNCIL

Thanks to the participation of Alexander Kentikelenis, Bocconi will have a part in the establishment of CHAIN - Centre for Global Health Inequalities Research, an initiative funded by the Norwegian Research Council and coordinated by NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology).

“The overall aim of CHAIN is to be a world-leading centre and research network for the international study of global health inequalities”, says Prof. Kentikelenis.

With a budget of around €150,000, Bocconi scholars will contribute to reach CHAIN’s research goals: monitoring international variations in health inequalities between and within countries; identifying and analysing the causal drivers of health inequalities in different countries;ing identify and evaluating interventions that have the potential to reduce health inequalitiesing propose evidence-based policy and practice guidelines for health equity.
