Andrea Colli Is the New President of EBHA

THE APPOINTMENT HAS TAKEN PLACE AT THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE EUROPEAN BUSINESS HISTORY ASSOCIATION IN ROTTERDAM

Andrea Colli, Full Professor of Business History at Bocconi, has been appointed president of the European Business History Association (EBHA) at the annual conference held in Rotterdam. The term of office is two years, effective from 1 January 2020.

EBHA was established at the end of 1994 as an association of individuals interested in understanding European business history. The 300 members are researchers from the academic disciplines of history and management, but also archivists, corporate practitioners and journalists, based not only in Europe. Professor Colli is the second Italian (and second Bocconian) to hold the position, after Franco Amatori in 2000-2001.

«During my two-year presidency», says Prof. Colli, «I have two objectives: to increase the number of young researchers interested in business history and to attract new members from countries that have so far been under-represented, especially in Eastern Europe».
