Pietro Sirena on the ELI Executive Committee

FULL PROFESSOR AT THE DEPARTMENT OF LEGAL STUDIES, SIRENA IS ONE OF THE SEVEN MEMBERS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BODY OF THE EUROPEAN LAW INSTITUTE

Pietro Sirena, Full Professor of Private Law at the Department of Legal Studies at Bocconi, has joined the Executive Committee of the European Law Institute (Eli), an independent organization based in Vienna.
 
«ELI is an independent non-profit organization created to initiate, conduct and facilitate research, make recommendations and provide practical guidance in the field of European legal development. Building on the wealth of diverse legal traditions, its mission is the quest for better law-making in Europe and the enhancement of European legal integration», says its Manifesto. The organization has a membership of 1,400 individuals (professionals, academics, policy makers and officials) and a hundred institutions from 60 countries.
 
The Executive Committee, composed of seven people, is the body that administers the organization.
