Giovanni Strampelli on the Orizzonti Board

A BOCCONI PROFESSOR HAS BEEN ELECTED FOR THE FIRST TIME TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ITALIAN BUSINESS LAW PROFESSORS

Giovanni Strampelli has been elected to the Board of Orizzonti del diritto commerciale, the association that represents, on a scientific and institutional level, the Italian professors of commercial law and counts more than 300 members. The association publishes the journal Orizzonti del diritto commerciale.

Strampelli, Full Professor at Bocconi's Department of Legal Studies, is the youngest of the nine members of the Board, and the first Bocconi professor to join it since the association was established in 2009. He has been part of the association since 2015.

Among the main duties of the board, which promotes all the activities of the association in line with the indications provided by the Assembly, are the organization of the annual conference and that of a study day devoted to the most interesting doctoral theses in the discipline.

“In the coming years, the Board will strive to increase the international exposure of the association, consolidating at the same time its role as Italian reference point for this discipline,” comments Professor Strampelli.
