Catherine De Vries, Dean for Diversity & Inclusion and Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University, was nominated in the list of 50 Influential Researchers Whose Work Could Help Shape 21st Century Politicians by Apolitical Foundation.

Apolitical Foundation put together a list of 50 influential researchers from around the world, after exploring the research on how to best cultivate reflective, representative and informed politicians.

Professor De Vries, as a political scientist, examines some of the key challenges facing the European continent today.

In 2020, De Vries, together with Sara Hobolt, wrote the book Political Entrepreneurs: The Rise of Challenger Parties in Europe, which tries to understand how politicians can break through in politics and become successful political entrepreneurs.
