Rector Gianmario Verona will announce tomorrow, at the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year, a three-year partnership to establish a Gucci Research Lab on the evolving organization in the 21st century.

The Gucci Lab will analyze the core trends in organizational design and digital transformation, leveraging on a pool of four professors, coordinated by the Lab Director, who cover different research fields to ensure both the ideal mix of competences and an interdisciplinary research approach.

The Lab will deliver each year a position paper on a specific topic, a conference to present the paper to stakeholders and the general public and a challenge linked to the topic, reserved for Bocconi students.

"It's a pleasure to establish the Gucci Research Lab, which aims to identify and study the trends that define the way in which organizations are evolving, with a special focus on the luxury industry", comments Rector Verona.

"I'm delighted that Gucci and Bocconi University are collaborating on this important initiative", says Marco Bizzarri, President and CEO of Gucci (pictured above by Albertro Zanetti), "which is designed to reveal important insights that large and small companies can learn from. More than ever before, a company's culture can be the differentiating factor in terms of competitive advantage".

In light of the new partnership, Gucci becomes one of Bocconi's Strategic Partners, further consolidating the relationship between the two entities. Consistent with its commitment to attracting and retaining the best talents, Gucci is already an important employer for Bocconi graduates and students through Bocconi's Corporate Associate Program and the joint Luxury Talent Program.
