Bocconi's School of Law Joins the American Society of Comparative Law

THE ASSOCIATION, FOUNDED IN 1951, PUBLISHES THE PRESTIGIOUS AMERICAN JOURNAL OF COMPARATIVE LAW

Bocconi's School of Law, directed by Dean Pietro Sirena, has become an institutional member of the American Society of Comparative Law, an academic association for the study of comparative law founded in 1951 in the United States and publisher of the American Journal of Comparative Law, one of the most prestigious journals in the comparative law field.

This recognition follows the recent appointment of the Dean to the Executive Committee of the European Law Institute, founded in 2011 and already counting over 1,500 European lawyers and over 100 institutional members.

«These are two very important achievements», says Prof. Sirena, «which prove, once again, how Bocconi is able to establish itself as an excellence in international contexts, where the rigor of the research studies is rewarded with esteem and the involvement in positions of responsibility».
