New Management Strategies and Models for Sustainability: The ABIS Call Is Open

, by Laura Fumagalli
The 16th May is the deadline to submit the papers for ABIS' 14th Colloquium

Which are the new management paradigms businesses should implement in order to face global sustainability challenges? Which are the implications of these challenges in terms of business strategy? What is the role of public institutions and NGOs?

This is the question that Italian and international scholars will have to answer in order to submit their contributions for ABIS 14th Colloquium. Open until 16 May, the call for papers will select the works that provide the most relevant analysis and conclusions in order to identify new management models for global sustainability.

After the 2006 edition, on 20 and 21 October, 2015 the international conference of the Academy of Business in Society returns to Università Bocconi, following Expo 2015's fil rouge. Global Sustainability Strategy. New models and approaches to achieve sustainable living is the topic of the 2015 Colloquium organized by ABIS and SDA Bocconi School of Management and organized by Francesco Perrini, SIF Chair of Social Entrepreneurship & Philanthropy and Filippo Giordano, professor of Public Policy & Management, SDA Bocconi School of Management.

"The 14° Colloquium will give managers, institutions and the academic world the chance to meet and discuss the issues of global sustainability", Perrini explains. "It will also represent an occasion to reflect on the deep interconnections among the great global challenges and on the ability of businesses and institutions to promote a culture of sustainability among the citizens-consumers. Our lifestyle and individual behavior have a decisive impact on this global challenge", adds Giordano.
