Milan and Bocconi, the Right Combination for AREUEA 2019

THE UNIVERSITY WILL HOST THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF THE AMERICAN REAL ESTATE AND URBAN ECONOMICS ASSOCIATION FROM 24 TO 26 JUNE

As Milan is becoming one of the most vibrant cities in Europe for its real estate market, Bocconi University is going to host AREUEA 2019, the annual international conference of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (24-26 June).
 
«At Bocconi’s Centre for Research on Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks (GREEN) we cover urban economics», says Marco Percoco, Director of GREEN and a member of the local organizing committee of the conference, «and Massimo Guidolin, at BAFFI CAREFIN Centre for Applied Research on International Markets, Banking, Finance and Regulation, researches real estate funds ant the financial tools they use. At SDA Bocconi School of Management, Giacomo Morri covers real estate valuation and Andrea Beltratti and Alessia Bezzecchi have recently established a Real Estate Innovation Lab».
 
Green building is one of the hot topics of the discipline and will be widely debated at the conference – the largest so far for AREUEA. «Hosting 140 scholars from across the world at Bocconi», concludes Prof. Percoco, «will also be a stimulus to make these studies more systematic at Bocconi».
