A New Episode of Bocconi's Podcast on Cybersecurity

A TALK ABOUT THE MEANING OF CYBERWAR AND WHAT THREATS DIFFERENT WORLD REGIONS FACE

The podcast Cybersecurity for Public Value, that discusses the principles underlying cybersecurity strategies focusing on the European Union, the United States and Italy, is at its second episode.
 
In this episode, titled State Security and Cyberwar, Greta Nasi and Colin MacArthur discuss the meaning of cyberwar in different contexts, including Latin America and the Global South, and review emerging trends in cybersecurity as governments take steps to strengthen their defenses and reduce the impact of any cyberattack they may be subject to.
 
The speakers in this episode are Andrea Calderaro, University of Cardiff and Robert Schuman Center, EUI; Fabiana Sofia Perera, William J Perry Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies, National Defense University; Elisa Pisanelli, PhD Candidate at the European University Institute and Center on Cybersecurity and Digitalization, ISPI and Raffaele Volpi, strategic advisor and geopolitical analyst, and former Chairman of the Italian Parliamentary Commission for Security.
 
This podcast is part of a project made possible by a grant from the US Embassy in Italy to build a cross-national understanding of improving cybersecurity in complex, interconnected domains.
