Bocconi Hosts GeoInno 2022

THE SIXTH EDITION OF THE GEOGRAPHY FOR INNOVATION CONFERENCE OPENS TODAY

On 4 to 6 July, Bocconi will host GeoInno 2022, the sixth edition of the Geography for Innovation Conference, organized by ICRIOS (Invernizzi Center for Research on Innovation, Organization, Strategy and Entrepreneurship). The local organizing committee members are Andrea Morrison, Nicoletta Corrocher and Stefano Breschi, all from the Department of Management and Technology.

The event, held for the first time at an Italian university, brings together scholars of economic geography and other disciplines from sociology to management to investigate the territorial and regional implications of technological innovation.

About 300 participants are expected, mainly from European universities. The opening keynote speech will be How does the local supply of scientists and inventors impact entrepreneurship and innovation?, by Matt Marx of Cornell University.
